Product Introduction
A waterproof cloth with super elasticity and waterproof sealing function, which can form a stable waterproof barrier for all joints of the Jieai waterproof tiling system, and can also be used for waterproof sealing at other indoor and outdoor joints.
Scope Of Application
1. Intersection of sealed wall/floor
2. Leakage point in the bathroom
3. Waterproof joints at weak structural points
4. Seal the joints and junctions on the balcony and roof
5. Before laying tiles, leveling layers, and surface layers, repair cracks in the concrete floor
Instructions for use
Step 1- Apply a self drying waterproof coating or waterproof mortar that meets the specifications evenly to the bottom, with a width exceeding the total width of the waterproof cloth.
Step 2- Press the elastic waterstop into the waterproof membrane, ensuring that the waterstop is located in the middle of the joint. Use a brush or shovel to gently press the waterstop, ensuring that it is completely attached to the waterproof membrane without arching or curling.
Step 3- Apply another layer of waterproof film evenly on the surface of the waterstop, especially ensuring that the edges of the non-woven fabric on both sides of the waterstop are completely covered by the waterproof film.
Precautions
The surface of the base layer should be sturdy and clean, free from any dust, oil stains, coatings, or other substances that may affect adhesion. When the waterstops overlap with each other, they should overlap at least 5CM.
